Describe each of the stakeholders identified in the application context diagram. As the application context diagram provides only limited space to describe the information flowing to and from the stakeholders, the stakeholder profile provides for additional space to expand the level of detail.

  1. 1. Begin with a blank textual table (MS Word Template).

  2. 2. Add the name of the stakeholder to the top of the table. Ensure the name is an exact match to the diagram to ensure traceability.

  3. 3. Provide a brief description of the stakeholder if the name is not self-evident.

  4. 4. Enumerate the information the flowing to and from the stakeholder. The details should match the arrows on the diagram, but far more detail can be added if necessary.

  1. The name on the table must match the name on the diagram to ensure traceability.

  2. The information flow details should match the arrows on the diagram.

  3. If the content of the textual table does not add anything more than what exists on the diagram, then eliminate the stakeholder profile.

  4. Create one file for each stakeholder.

  5. Don’t provide too much detail, the next activities will explore each flow of information in depth.
