Deployment delivers the product to the customer, and ensures the installation and assimilation of the new product is completed smoothly. Once installed, and the users are trained, the Customer Acceptance Test Plan (CAT) is exercised to demonstrate complete functionality. The completed CAT provides for a formal acceptance and sign-off on the product delivery.
